The proposals are expected to be submitted to the local planning authority as part of a detailed planning application for this phase. The council will then check the application and carry out its own formal consultation.
If the application is approved, further details may still need to be agreed before construction can begin. Construction would then take place in phases, with roads, utilities, homes and landscaping delivered in sequence.
